Join a Trauma-Focused, Faith-Centered Therapy Practice in California

We are currently hiring an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) to join our growing private practice in California. This position is ideal for a therapist who feels called to work with trauma, valuesChristian or Catholic faith-based integration, and is interested in developing strong clinical skills using CBT and EMDR.

This role offers a supportive, mentorship-oriented environment where associates can deepen their confidence, clinical identity, and specialization while working with meaningful, purpose-driven clients.

I work with individuals, couples, children, and families in navigating and processing difficult experiences. Though I have worked with a range of issues, I approach my practice from a trauma-informed lens. Whether you have developed Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), are a survivor of violence or abuse, or struggle to fully understand your mental health challenges, we will collaborate in therapy to create a tailored, focused treatment to help you thrive.

Clinical Focus Areas

Associates in our practice commonly work with:

  • Trauma and complex trauma

  • Anxiety and panic disorders

  • Depression and mood regulation

  • Relationship and family stress

  • Faith-related concerns and spiritual integration

  • Life transitions and identity development

Training and supervision emphasize trauma-informed care, nervous system regulation, and integrating evidence-based practices with faith when clinically appropriate.

  • Willingness to integrate faith-based perspectives when appropriate

  • Commitment to professional growth and ethical practice

  • Reliable availability beginning August/September 2026
